Hello, World
The first post on ars.md — what this blog is, why I'm writing it, and the kinds of technology notes, ideas, and build logs you'll find here over time.
Every blog starts somewhere. This is mine.
I’m an ex-humanitarian turned technologist. These days I build things — an iOS audio player, an AI red-teaming framework, whatever problem has been nagging me that week — and I write to make sense of them.
Why write?
Writing forces clarity. The moment I try to explain something I only half-understand, I find the edges of what I actually know — fast. This is where I do that thinking: in public, slowly, one post at a time.
I’m not here to be comprehensive or authoritative. I’m here to think better, and writing is how I think.
What you’ll find here
Notes on what I’m building or using, ideas I want to poke at, and the odd observation that won’t sit still anywhere else. Some posts are quick; some run long. No schedule — I write when I’ve got something worth saying.
Comments
At the bottom of each post there’s a comments section powered by Giscus, which means comments are really GitHub Discussions. You’ll need a GitHub account to leave one — which keeps things civil without me having to run moderation infrastructure.
I try to reply to every one.
That’s the introduction. More soon.
